We were in Gulfport for several days visiting family. We found Dog Days of Gulfport online and are so happy we did. Janine took great care of Lucia for the day. She was professional with a caring and personal touch. Janine sent us photos of Lucia and took her for walks. The setup of Janine’s house and yard are perfect for dogs—secure, clean and comfortable. We will definitely use Dog Days next time we are in Gulfport.

Janine is literally my dogs’ best friend and favorite person, I couldn’t ask for better service. They really do go above and beyond when it comes to the care of your furry family members.

Janine and her pups are an absolute god send! She is so accommodating and just wonderful with all different types of dogs in different stages of life. I have a VERY high energetic pitbull puppy, who can certainly be a handful. Janine has tended to her every need with plenty of walks, play time, and bone chewing! My dog has even met new besties to play with that match her energy thanks to Janine! She is always there when we need her, and we couldn’t be more grateful. She is incredibly flexible with my work schedule, which I so appreciate! My dog is now a regular there, and Janine is always keeping me up to date with adorable pics and video updates! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janine and her business. I would highly recommend dog days of Gulfport for all of your dog needs! I leave my dogs at Janine’s knowing they’ll be treated the same (if not more spoiled) while I’m traveling. I was looking for somewhere I could feel at ease dropping them off and not the typical kennel. At Janine’s they have a yard to play in, free rein of the house - including the couch or bed, and she is in constant communication with us. Just yes. I’ve just moved to St. Pete and had to go out of town for a conference and found Janine. I’m a pretty neurotic dog mom and was feeling really nervous about leaving them with someone they didn’t know for the first time. The experience couldn’t have been any better. Dog Days of Gulfport is THE best pet sitting option in Florida! Janine and Doug are responsive, friendly, and care for all the pups better than any sitter I've used. Blue loved his visit at DDOG and we will definitely be back for another week long stay soon. Highly recommend!

Dog days is top notch. They took such good care of our bulldog bubba for a few nights. Janine was extremely accommodating to our dogs needs and communicative before and during bubbas stay. My dog Luna is like my child so the idea of dropping her off at one of the boarding centers used to make traveling a nightmare. Then I met Janine and Dog Days of Gulfport. It’s very clear from the first moment that you introduce your dog that she cares more about your dog than she does you. (That’s a good thing) Compared to some of the other “Dog Hotel” businesses that care about you and your money and not your dog. She tracks feeding times, walking, schedules, personality quirks, and when you come back to pick up, she will probably tell you something about your dog that you never noticed. It’s extremely reassuring knowing that she will take better care of your dog than you do.

Absolutely love it, so does my pup! We board max overnight for long trips. Max is an older dog who gets lots of care and attention since it’s a small and personable business Janine runs. I’d recommend this place for any dog large or small and the price is right as well!

Janine is awesome! I am so lucky to have found her to watch my furbabies when I travel. It is good to know when I am on vacation, so are my dogs. They get so much love, walks and cuddles. I also love getting updates daily on how Louie and Ovi are doing via text but also seeing the cute videos on instagram. We have an almost four year old frenchie named Remington who is as hyper and crazy as they come! We first came across Janine and Dog Days of Gulfport when we were searching for somewhere for Remi to stay while we traveled for work 3-4 nights a week. We were very nervous to leave Remi anywhere, let alone dog boarding while we worked. Thank goodness we found Janine and Doug! They took our little boy in and loved him like he was their own. Whenever we would tell Remi he was going to miss Janine’s, he would get so excited. We were always getting pictures and videos every time he stayed. I would truly recommend them to anyone who wants their pet to feel at home while they are away. We are no longer traveling for work, but we are so grateful for the time that Remi spent with them!

Janine is the best dogsitter in town!! Our dog Noah had another wonderful stay with Janine. He had so much fun, we almost felt bad picking him up 😂 We loved following along with all the pics and videos Janine shared. Janine was so accommodating when we had a delayed flight and weren’t able to pick Noah up when we had expected. Noah can’t wait for his next visit with Janine - or Summer Camp as we call it in our house since he has such a blast when he stays with her! He loves going on bike rides with Janine and Doug and cuddling up to Janine when he’s scared of thunder storms.
